  10. ForceMode is a screenmode promotion utility which does its job  in  a  quite
  11. different way compared to most similar programs.
  12.  
  13. ForceMode  is  not  program-based  but screenmode-based. This means that you
  14. only  have  to  set  things  up  once   and   every   program   which   uses
  15. intuition.library  to  open  a screen will automatically behave according to
  16. your settings. And if you don't want all programs to do so, you can  exclude
  17. certain  programs very easily.

  19. The  main  idea  behind  ForceMode  was  to  eliminate  as  many  interlaced
  20. screenmodes  as  possible  without  having to use the rather blocky and ugly
  21. DblX-lowres modes.  But you can of course also use ForceMode  with  graphics
  22. boards  whose  modes  appear as system screenmodes. Since I have no graphics
  23. board, I haven't tested this and therefore can't give a warranty for  proper
  24. working.
